Support & friendship when it's needed

We offer after-school facilities. This is currently only twice a month but with more funding we will dramatically increase that. Social and leisure outings to the theatre, bowling, indeed whatever the young people of B- Autistic request. We give information on a one-to-one basis and over the telephone.Support for parents by attending meetings with them concerning their children's community and statutory services. We give presentations about Autism to a range of agencies.

future plans & new horizons

B-Autistics' major aim is to open a learning & resource centre

to offer respite facilities to young people with Autism,

their parents and carers.

Campaign for fair treatment

Why are we supporting the drive to improve services for some

of the most vulnerable members of society?

We believe that every day thousands of children with learning difficulties are being short changed when they seek assistance

in respect of their education, health or housing.

These key needs are the basic right of every child in Britain.

So why is it so different for children with learning difficulties.

Do they not have the same rights?

An estimated 535,000 children have been diagnosed with Autism in the UK. We maintain that this is not an accurate figure as misdiagnosis by doctors and health professionals, means that it could well be just the tip of the iceberg.

Our previous and current

funders include:

(now the Novas Scarman Group)
